# Quick Start

Pick your path: deposit, stake, or run a node.

## Deposit into a vault

1. **Connect a wallet.** Open [dapp.noderr.xyz](https://dapp.noderr.xyz) and connect a wallet such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet on Base Sepolia.
2. **Pick a vault.** Go to **Vaults** and compare the six vaults. Each has its own risk and return profile.
3. **Deposit tUSDC.** Enter an amount and approve the transaction in your wallet. You get vault shares back, for example nCONS for the Conservative vault. Each share is a proportional claim on the vault's assets.

Each vault has its own target APY band, listed in [Core Concepts](./core-concepts.md#vaults). Targets are not guaranteed. No capital has been deployed to strategies yet.

## Stake $NODR

1. **Get testnet $NODR** from the faucet in the [Noderr Discord](https://discord.gg/bPznF37J2e). Run the `/faucet` command with your wallet address and the bot sends it.
2. **Stake it** in the **Staking** section of the dApp.

Staking rewards and DAO voting power will follow once they are live. Rewards are not being paid yet.

Onchain DAO voting is planned and not active. No proposal has been created yet. Once it is live, node operators will vote in two chambers (Oracle and Guardian), with voting power based on node tier and staked $NODR. See [Governance](../protocol/governance/README.md).

## Run a node

1. **Choose a tier.** Check the requirements for [Micro](../node-operators/micro-nodes/README.md), [Validator](../node-operators/validator-nodes/README.md), [Guardian](../node-operators/guardian-nodes/README.md) or [Oracle](../node-operators/oracle-nodes/README.md).
2. **Apply.** Validator, Guardian and Oracle operators apply through the [Node Operator Application](https://form.typeform.com/to/I6klvjKG). Once approved and paid for a tier, you receive an install token. Micro nodes run on the Micro Node app and need no stake.
3. **Install.** Follow the [Node Setup Guide](../node-operators/setup-guide.md).
