Node Network

The Noderr Protocol is powered by a decentralized network of community-operated nodes. This network serves as the backbone of the protocol, responsible for a wide range of critical functions, including data collection, transaction validation, security, and governance. The network is composed of four distinct node tiers, each with its own set of responsibilities and rewards.

The Four-Tier Structure

The protocol's unique four-tier node structure is designed to accommodate a diverse range of technical expertise and capital commitment, creating a balanced and resilient network.

1. Micro Nodes

  • Responsibilities: Micro Nodes are responsible for basic data collection and network monitoring. They form the broad base of the network, providing a wide and diverse set of data points.
  • Requirements: This tier has low hardware requirements and no required stake (0 NODR), making it accessible to a wide range of participants.

2. Validator Nodes

  • Responsibilities: Validator Nodes are responsible for transaction validation and ensuring the overall security of the network. They act as the guardians of the ledger, maintaining its integrity.
  • Requirements: This tier requires a 25,000 NODR stake and a TrustFingerprint score of at least 0.60, suitable for experienced operators with a moderate capital commitment.

3. Guardian Nodes

  • Responsibilities: Guardian Nodes form the protocol's Guardian Chamber, responsible for security oversight, technical upgrades, and emergency response. They are the first line of defense against security threats.
  • Requirements: This tier requires a 50,000 NODR stake, a TrustFingerprint score of at least 0.70, and governance approval together with a Guardian Utility NFT. It is reserved for security experts and long-term protocol stakeholders.

4. Oracle Nodes

  • Responsibilities: Oracle Nodes are responsible for the protocol's autonomous strategy layer (the conceptual ATS/ATE umbrella, realized on-chain through the ExecutionRouter, StrategyRegistry, and Base-Rate Governor), including advanced data collection and strategy execution. They are central to the protocol's yield generation.
  • Requirements: This tier requires a 150,000 NODR stake, a TrustFingerprint score of at least 0.80, and election by a 66% Oracle supermajority together with an Oracle Utility NFT. It is intended for quantitative analysts, data scientists, and institutional operators.

TrustFingerprint: A Reputation-Based System

The entire node network is governed by the TrustFingerprint reputation system. This dynamic, onchain system scores each node operator based on their performance, reliability, and governance participation. The TrustFingerprint score is a critical component in determining a node operator's rewards and voting power, ensuring that the most reliable and trustworthy operators have the most influence over the protocol.
